Philanthropy is the love of doing good deeds for others. It comes from the Greek word which mean love of humanity. In the humanist era of the modern-day world, the word is the act of giving money, time, or products to a cause, people, or person in order for them to be taken care of in some manner or matter. One who practices philanthropy is a philanthropist. Some examples of philanthropic endeavors are disaster relief, medical help, homelessness, and social enterprise.
