Born to actor Martin Sheen (who was born Ramon Estevez) and his wife Janet, Emilio Estevez was born in Staten Island, New York May 12, 1962. He lived with his family in the upper west side of Manhattan until he was eight, when his father's career started moving forward. At that time, the family moved to Malibu and he went to school in Santa Monica. He has been married one time, to Paula Abdul, though his two children are from a previous long-term relationship.
