Actor Colin Farrell was born May 31, 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. His father was a former soccer player who owned a health food store. He was widely reported to have married Amelia Warner in 2001, but at the end of that year, Colin told reporters that they had a ceremony on the beach in French Polynesia, but that it was not a legal wedding. In 2003, an American model, Kim Bordenave, bore him a son, who has the genetic disorder Angelman syndrome. In 2009, he had another son with actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, who costarred with him in "Ondine." He has checked into rehab for the treatment of addiction to recreational drugs in 2005.
