Kate Hudson was born on April 19, 1979 in Los Angeles to actor Bill Hudson and actress and comedienne Goldie Hawn. Her parents divorced when she was a toddler, and she and her brother were raised by Goldie and her boyfriend, actor Kurt Russell in Snowmass, Colorado. She is a practicing Buddhist. She married singer Chris Robinson in 2000 in Aspen and they were divorced in 2007. They have one son. She has a second son was born in 2011 and lives in London and the United States.
