Singer and star of her own television show, Reba McEntire was born March 28, 1955 in Kiowa, Oklahoma. Her father was a world champion steer roper. She relates that on their way home from her father's rodeos, she and her siblings would sing, learning to sing harmony. They eventually formed a family group and sang at rodeos. She has been married twice. Her first husband was a national steer wrestling champion from 1967 to 1987. She married her manager Narvel Blackstock in 1989, and they had a son, Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock in 1990. They divorced in 2015. Reba still considers her stepchildren by Blackstock her own children.
