Born in Nelsonville, Ohio on March 25, 1965, Sarah Jessica Parker is descended from Esther Elwell, who was accused of witchcraft in the Salem witch trials. She was involved in a relationship with Robert Downey, Jr. from 1984 until 1991, but they broke up, apparently due to Downey's out of control drug addiction. In 1997, she married actor Matthew Broderick. She had a son in 2002 and they had twin daughters via a surrogate in 2009. They live in New York City but spend a lot of time in County Donegal, Ireland.
