Jon Voight, was born in Yonkers, New York on December 29, 1938, to a housewife and a professional golfer. He was in numerous award-winning movies and television programs, beginning in 1962. He has been married and divorced twice and has two children, one of whom is Angelina Jolie. He was a Democrat and a Vietnam War protester in years gone by but in 2008 he wrote an op-ed piece expressing his former political philosophy and announcing he was now a Republican.
