Catherine Zeta Jones was born September 25, 1969 in Swansea, Wales. Her middle name, Zeta, was her grandmother's name; reports are that the grandmother was named after a boat in Swansea Harbour. Catherine later hyphenated her middle and last names. She married actor Michael Douglas who is exactly 25 years older than she in 2000 in New York City. In 2011, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is being treated for that disorder. They have two children.
