The Association of Southeast Asian Nations is the organization of ten nations situated in Southeast Asia. ASEAN was formed in 1967 by Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines and now includes Brunei, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
