The state of Arkansas, whose largest city, Little Rock, serves as its capital. It is nicknamed The Natural State, though people still call it by its old nickname, which is the Land of Opportunity. Admitted into the Union in 1836, it was the 25th state. After being the crux of a dispute between its two senators, it became the only state which ever had to have legislation created in order to standardize his name.
