Huntingburg is a small city in southwestern Indiana's Dubois County, now known for its antique shops. The town took its name from its founder, Jacob Geiger, an avid hunter who came there from Kentucky in 1837, purchased 1,920 acres, and settled at a place that is now the corner of Sixth and Geiger streets, a brick residence that remains today.
