Located in Sedgwick County, Park City, Kansas was founded in 1870, but died after the railroad went through Wichita instead of Park City. Most of the houses there were physically moed to Wichita at that time. In 1953, the town was revived. The BTK serial killer, Dennis Rader, was raised in Park City. The house he grew up in was bought by the town and torn down in 2007.
