Allegan County Old Jail Museum
Formerly the Allegan County jail and sheriff’s residence, from 1906 to 1963, the building now serves as a museum that hosts more than ten thousand artifacts representing the history of Allegan County, as well as providing space for the headquarters of the Allegan County Historical Society. An introduction to the museum and the Society is provided, as well as the John Pahl Historical Village, which consists of several historical buildings that have been moved to the fairgrounds.
