The city of Manchester, Missouri is in St. Louis County, in the mid-eastern part of the state. The community was named for Manchester, England. The city is located near the crossroads of Missouri Highways 100 and 141. Chesterfield is just over six miles northwest of Manchester, Peerless Park just under four miles to the south, and the larger City of St. Louis is twenty miles to the east.
