Named for its founder, Joseph Ulman, the unincorporated town of Ulman is about five miles south of Tuscumbia, in Miller County, Missouri. Other neighboring communities include Bagnell, Brumley, Capps, Iberia, Kaiser, Lake Ozark, Lakeside, Osage Beach, St. Anthony, and St. Elizabeth. The Lake of the Ozarks State Park is southwest of the town. Settled in the 1840s, a post office was established in Ulman in 1895.
