Located in northern Wheatland County, in central Montana, the town of Judith Gap is situated between the Snowy Mountains to the east, the Little Belts to the west, and the Crazy Mountains to the south. Accessed through Montana Highway 3 and US Highway 191, Judith Gap is eighteen miles from Harlowtown, thirty-nine miles from Lewistown, and a hundred and ten miles from Billings and Great Falls. Area attractions include Crystal Lake, the Ice Caves, and the Judith Gap Wind Farm. Nearby are Deadman’s Basin, the Martinsdale Reservoir, and Ackley Lake, which are popular fishing places.
