The township of East Greenwich, New Jersey was established in 1881, and includes the unincorporated communities of Clarksboro, Mickleton, and Mount Royal. East Greenwich is still primarily a farming and residential area in western Gloucester County. Many of its residents can trace their lineage back to the region’s early settlers. East Greenwich is east of Greenwich, southwest of Salem, and south of Cossayuna.
