Bordering the Atlantic Ocean on Long Beach Island, Harvey Cedars is a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey. Named in part for the white cedars that once covered the northern areas of Long Beach Island, Harvey Cedars was incorporated in 1894. On the island, Harvey Cedars is southwest of Barnegat Lights and northeast of Surf City.
