A Township in Burlington County, New Jersey, incorporated on March 6, 1850 by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature. Two major highways and one county route passes through the township. Running through the northwestern part of the township is the Interstate 295, the County Route 541 crosses the municipality and the township also hosts sections of the toll road known as the New Jersey Turnpike.
