Named for Alexander White, to came to the area before 1760, White Township is in Warren County, New Jersey, within the Kittatinny Valley of the Great Appalachian Valley. It was incorporated as a township in 1913. Unincorporated communities within the township include Bridgeville, Brookfield and Buttzville. US Route 46 passes through the northern part of the township, while Route 31 passes through the eastern portion, and the major road passing through the township is CR 519. Mail addressed to the township uses a Belvidere address.
