Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, generally known simply as Los Ranchos, is a village situated on the east side of the Rio Grande in Bernalillo County, adjacent to the North Valley area. The village is surrounded on three sides by the larger city of Albuquerque. The community was incorporated as a village in 1958, largely to avoid being annexed by Albuquerque.
