Galion, Ohio is a city in Crawford, Morrow and Richland counties. The area was settled as early as 1817, at the crossroads of a north-south road from Columbus to Portland, now known as Sandusky, and the east-west road that later became part of the Lincoln Highway. The community was first known as Greensburg.
