Fort Supply is a small town in the northwestern corner of Woodward County, Oklahoma. Its post office was established in 1903, at which time the community was known simply as Supply. In 1943, the name of the post office and town was changed to Fort Supply, for the frontier military post that was located one mile east of the townsite, in operation from 1868-1894.
