Wood Village is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon. Established as a company town for the Reynolds Aluminum plant, which is now closed, the community was built on 50 acres of farmland in 1942. Prior to that time, in 1887, George and Hannah Shaw built a two-story farmhouse, which still stands on the Northeast corner of 238th Drive and NE Halsey Street. The city is located in the interior northern part of the state.
