Grantham is an unincorporated village in Upper Allen Township, within Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The village is known mostly for Messiah College, whose students, faculty and alumni comprise the majority of its population. Grantham was founded in the early 1900s, built around the macaroni factory run by Messiah College's first president, S.R. Smith. Other early businesses included a grain mill.
