Huntingdon is a borough in and the county seat of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. It was settled by the Reverend Dr. William Smith in 1767, who called the settlement Standing Stone. He later renamed the village Huntingdon in honor of the Countess of Huntingdon, England, Selina.
