Mt. Juliet, Tennessee is located in Wilson County just outside of Nashville. It was founded in 1835 and was finally incorporated as a city in 1972. Though there are couple of traditions as to how the town was named, it is likely that it was named in honor of a castle in County Kilkenny, Ireland.
