AIRNow was developed by the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Park Service, and various tribal, state and local agencies, as a means of providing the public with access to national air quality information. Its site offers AQI forecasts as well as real-time AQI conditions for cities across the United States.
