Free Categories SQL Dump
Other June 28th, 2006Creating categories for a new directory can be very boring and a time consuming thing to do, especially if you want a lot of categories instead of only basic ones.
The owner of iollo.com released a free sql dump with 456 categories for the PHP Link Directory script. To install this you need to delete PLD_CATEGORY and PLD_CATEGORY_SEQ tables from your default installation mysql database and the import sql dump.

But this dump works for phpld 2.0 ?

I think it should work with all versions of phpld. Just in case, I updated tread with another category dump resource.

I tried it for one of my brand new directory and it is working fine. Thank you very much for sharing the dump it saves me lot of time and labor.
