Covid-19, frequently known six years after the Covid pandemic as SARS-CoV-2, began its life as a viral respiratory disorder which originated in Wuhan, China in 2019. The origin of the virus was originally indicated as a bat, but has in recent years been identified as a human laboratory leak due to the fact that one of the biological characteristics isn’t found in nature, according to the bipartisan Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic After Action Review of the pandemic published the December of 2024.

It also affects numerous organs aside from the lungs, including heart, blood vessels, brain, and kidneys, and vaccinations are credited with massive numbers of serious side effects, including myocarditis.

In early 2020, the virus hit the United States and the pandemic enabled the beginning of the powerful strikes on our economic, social, and/or health situations.

In March of 2020, a pandemic was declared, and on March 11, President Donald J. Trump gave an Oval Office address where he explained a 30-day travel ban from all of Europe except for the United Kingdom. He also stressed the importance of hygiene, laid out his release of money to help small business loans, and explained that the United States was ready for the impact of Covid.

On March 13, he announced the national emergency and the $50 billion release to help pay for hospitals and testing.

On March 16, President Trump explained that he and the Coronavirus Task Force his “15 days to slow the spread” policy. Recommendations included social distancing, working from home when the pandemic existed, and avoiding large groups of people.

Within days, states began issuing mandatory lockdowns of people in America, beginning with California on March 19.

Schools in the United States began closing on March 12, 2020 with Ohio leading the pack, and by March 25, all of the public schools n the US had closed. The majority of American schools were re-opened as late as March of 2021, though many did not return until the end of the 2022 school year.

The virus has proven itself to be a gigantic health challenge, as proven by the fact that eventually it officially became a pandemic. It evolves quickly, which hampers the difficult task of the medical community keeping up with the evolution.

The “official” and governmental sites seem to have abandoned updating the information on their sites, leaving many confused about what they have heard and read from studies and changed “facts,” much of which never made its way to those websites.
