Born August 7, 1960 in New York City, David Duchovny’ mother was from from Aberdeen, Scotland and a father from Poland. He is famous for his role as Fox Mulder on The X-Files. He attended prep school in Manhattan and graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English Literature. He married Tea Leoni in 1997, and they have a two children. David announced in 2008 that he had sought treatment for his sex addiction. He and Tea were divorced in 2014, after numerous attempts to reconcile.
