Usher Raymond IV, known professionally as "Usher," was born October 14, 1978 in Dallas, Texas. His father abandoned the family when Usher was a toddler, and he spent most of his childhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee and then in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and dancer. He had a long-term relationship with Rozonda Thomas, an entertainer known professionally as Chilli, from 2001 to 2003. In 2005, he began dating wardrobe stylist Tameka Foster, and they were married in August of 2007. Their first son, Usher Raymond V, was born in November of that year, and their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, was born in December 2008. They were divorced in June of 2009. In 2015, he married Grace Miguel. He has custody of his sons, and they live in Georgia.
