Stevie Wonder, born Stevland Hardaway Morris, was born May 13, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. Born blind, he was a child prodigy who was signed to his first record contract when he was eleven, when he was known professionally as "Little Stevie Wonder." He was married to fellow singer and songwriter Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972, and from 2001 until he filed for divorce in 2012, he has been married to fashion designer Kai Millard Morris. He has nine children with five different mothers.
