Winslow is a city in Navajo County, Arizona. It was named for Edward Winslow, president of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad. The town, which was a popular stop along Route 66, was bypassed by I-40 in the 1970s, but achieved national fame in the Eagles song, "Take it Easy", which had the verse, "Standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona."
