Bodega Bay is a small village located in Sonoma County and lies on the edge of Bodega Harbor. It is noted for being the location of several major films including "The Birds" and "Puppet Master". In the 1960s a nuclear power plant was planned for Bodega Bay but later abandoned after the discovery of an earthquake fault across the proposed site.
