The city of Ketchum, in Blaine County, Idaho, is adjacent to and often coupled with Sun Valley. It is a tourist attraction for its fishing, trail riding, and hiking. It was on a farm here that Ernest Hemingway lived, and in Ketchum where he committed suicide. The annual Wagon Days festival, held on Labor Day weekend, is set to the theme of the old west, and features a parade, wagon trains, and staged gunfights in the street.
