Lake Bluff is a village located within Lake County, Illinois. The area was previously known as Rockland, as Dwyer Settlement, and before that, as Oak Hill. The village was a place of major interest during Prohibition when Al Capone brought alcohol to the shores of Lake Bluff for distribution in the Chicago area.
