Located in southeastern Indiana, on the Ohio River west of Cincinnati, Lawrenceburg is the seat of Dearborn County, Indiana. In the late 1700s, the first settlers arrived in flatboats, coming mostly from eastern states such as Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
