Named for the capital of Poland, Warsaw is the county seat of Kosciusko County, Indiana. Due to its nearby lakes, namely Center Lake, Hidden Lake, Pike Lake and Winona Lake, Warsaw is nicknamed "Lake City", although other cities in the region are also referred to by that name.
