Belgrade, a Kennebec County town, includes the villages of North Belgrade, Belgrade Depot and Belgrade Lakes, sometimes called "The Village". The surface of the town is uneven, with much of it being water in the form of a connected chain of lakes, the largest of which is Great Pond Lake.
