The home of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and the Southern New England School of Law, Dartmouth is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts. The villages of Bliss Corner, Padanaram Village, Smith Mills and the Russells Mills Village Historic District are in Dartmouth. Settled in 1652 and incorporated in 1664, the town was named for the town of Dartmouth, Devon, England.
