Battle Creek is in the Southwest Lower Peninsula of Michigan, at the confluence of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo rivers. Settled in 1831, the city is best known as the home of Kellogg Corn Flakes, a company still headquartered in Battle Creek.
However, it is also home of several attractions, events, recreational opportunities, and sporting facilities and programs, which are the focus of this category.
Examples of appropriate topics for this category are Battle Creek museums, historic places, libraries, and art galleries, as well as parks, zoos, theaters, and theatre groups. Websites representing Battle Creek concerts, festivals, and other events would be listed here, as might local sports teams or programs, recreational opportunities, and entertainment venues, such as bowling alleys or amusement parks.
