Guest lodging facilities in Central Lake, Michigan are the focus of resources listed in this guide.
These might include local hotels and motels, bed and breakfasts, vacation cabins, cottages, or resorts, RV parks, campgrounds, and other temporary guest accommodations in Central Lake or within the area covered by the Central Lake post office.
Although the year-round population of the village is under a thousand, Central Lake and the surrounding lakes area enjoys robust summer vacation business, and outdoor recreation and sporting activities bring people in throughout the year.
Besides Hanley Lake and Intermediate Lake, Torch Lake, just west of Central Lake, is Michigan's longest inland lake and the second-largest inland lake in the state, with a length of nineteen miles and an area of 18,770 acres. Portions of the Torch Lake area are in the Central Lake postal zone.
To serve this summer population, there are several cabins and resorts along the lakes, both within the village and in the surrounding region.
Bridgewalk Bed & Breakfast and Moonkeeper Bed and Breakfast are within the village limits, as is the Blue Pelican Inn. Guest facilities just outside of the village include Cedars Resort, Fieldguide Farmhouse, Little Chick Farm, Snug Harbor Cabins, and Torch Lake Bed and Breakfast. There are probably others and, if so, they would be appropriate topics for this guide, as well.

The vacation resort began as one rental cabin in the early 1940s, and other cabins were added one by one, constructed from cedar timber harvested from the surrounding area, which was hand-hewn by the founder, Eddie Barber. Currently consisting of five cabins, numbered in the order in which they were built, a photo gallery offers views of the cabins and grounds. Area information is offered, a map shows the location of the cabins, and contact information is included.
