Centered on the intersection of Port Sheldon Street and 120th Avenue, the community known as Crisp is about six miles southeast of West Olive, in Olive Township, Ottawa County, Michigan.
As an unincorporated community in Michigan, Crisp does not have defined boundaries, but its residential area is mostly along 120th Avenue, north and south of Port Sheldon Street, and along Port Sheldon Street, east and west of 120th Avenue.
Largely residential, the small community includes a church, a Christian school, and some farms and agricultural businesses.
The community was founded by Dutch immigrants in the late 19th Century. A post office was established on November 20, 1893, with Wybe Nienhuts as the first postmaster. The post office closed on December 31, 1904, and has not reopened. Crisp is listed in some publications as a ghost town, although there are several homes, at least one church, a Christian school, farms, and some other businesses.
Incorporated cities and villages within twenty-five miles of Crisp include Zeeland, Holland, Hudsonville, Grand Haven, Grandville, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Kentwood, Fruitport, Douglas, Coopersville, Wyoming, Fennville, Walker, Grand Rapids, and Kentwood, while the unincorporated communities of Borculo, Noordeloos, West Olive, Port Sheldon, Robinson, Blendon, and Waukazoo Woods are within ten miles.

Services may be attended in person at its facilities on 120th Avenue in Crisp, Michigan or through live streaming media.
