Lowell Classic Gravel Road Race
Following a course along the banks of the Flat River and through rural Ionia County, largely on unpaved roads, the bicycle race includes 34-mile and 50-mile routes, each single loops, including two historic wooden covered bridges. First organized in 1929, the track now encompasses more than a hundred and eighty acres and includes an island on the Flat River, as well as a portion of the North Country Trail.
