Mulliken, Michigan is a small village in north Roxand Township, Eaton County, bordering on Sebewa Township in Ionia County to the north.

The village's northern border is Easton Highway, the southern border is Grand Ledge Highway, and Charlotte Highway/Milliken Road runs north-south, intersecting Eaton Highway and Grand Ledge Highway.

Cities and villages within twenty miles of Mulliken include Sunfield, Portland, Grand Ledge, Lake Odessa, Woodland, Vermontville, Charlotte, Potterville, Westphalia, Lansing, Lyons, Pewamo, Dimondale, and Muir.

Mulliken was founded by Theodore E. Potter in 1888, and a post office was established on September 20 of that year, with Albert Lawrence as postmaster. The village was named for the contractor who built the Pere Marquette Railroad, which was later acquired by the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad. The railroad established a station depot in Mulliken, which was also a stagecoach stop.

Largely a residential village, Mulliken doesn't have many businesses. Apart from the post office, there is a tavern, a couple of restaurants, a thrift store, an auto repair shop, an auto salvage yard, a taxidermy business, a funeral home, a bank branch, and a business that produces outdoor furnishings made from recycled material. The railroad continues to run through the village, and there is a grain elevator along the tracks.

The village government has offices in town, the township fire department is based in Mulliken, and there is a library branch, and a village park. The village hosts an annual Hot Rods and Harleys motorcycle event each August. Although there may be differences from year to year, it usually includes a motorcycle and car show, live music, food, drink, and motorcycle-related events.
