North Street, Michigan is an unincorporated community in eastern Clyde Township, St. Clair County, in the Thumb Region of the Lower Peninsula.

The community is concentrated along North Road and North River Road, which roughly follows the course of the Black River. Timberlane Drive connects with North River Road, leading west and then south through much of North Street's residential area.

As an unincorporated community, North Street does not have defined boundaries, however. The North Street post office serves most of Clyde Township and a portion of Port Huron Township. Addresses within the North Street zip code (48049) also include mail addressed to Clyde, Michigan, and Ruby, Michigan.

North Street is one of several unincorporated communities nearby. The communities of Gardendale, Burtchville, Lakeport, Atkins, Wadhams, Keewahdin, Blaine, Ruby, Sparlingville, North Lakeport, Jeddo, Kimball, Tappan, and Avoca are within ten miles of North Street. Incorporated cities and villages within twenty miles of North Street include Port Huron, Marysville, Lexington, Yale, Emmet, and Croswell.

North Street was established along the Flint & Pere Marquette Railroad's Sand Beach Division north of Port Huron, and a flag stop for passenger trains in 1898. Its post office was established on April 7, 1879, with Charles G. Townsend as postmaster, and named for its main street, which is now known as North Road.
