A recent survey suggests that residents of Northville, Michigan are more religious than the average Michigander or American.

While 41.9% of respondents in Michigan and 49.4% of Americans cited an affiliation with a particular religion, 50.6% of Northville residents were religious. Nearly half of the religious respondents in Northville were Catholic, and the Catholics outnumbered the Protestants.

Among the Christian religions, the Catholics were followed distantly by the Methodists, Lutherans, Baptists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Episcopalians, and Mormons, although the larger percentage of non-Catholic Christians cited affiliation with Anabaptist or Protestant denominations that were not part of the survey, or with various non-denominational churches.

Those identifying with Judaism outnumbered all but the Catholics and the Methodists, and smaller numbers cited Islam or various Eastern religions.
