Richmond is a starting point for the Macomb Orchard Trail, a 23-5-mile multi-use, non-motorized trail that follows the track of an abandoned railroad in northern Macomb County, connecting with the Stony Creek Metropark, Bloomer Park, and the Paint Creek Trail.
For its residents, the city maintains three parks, including baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool, and playground facilities.
