Originally, the private collection of haunted and cursed items belonging to Steve Shippy could be seen on display only at his red-carpet film events, but it is now housed inside a former mortuary on the corner of Adams and Hamilton Streets in downtown Old Town Saginaw, Michigan. Mid-Michigan Children's Museum
Organized in 1999, and opening to the public in 2008, the non-profit facility is designed solely for children, with each of its eleven galleries developed around school curriculum, with input from children's museum specialists, educators, and children, and includes classrooms for field trips, meetings, and special events. Its location and hours are posted, main events are highlighted, and its exhibits and programs for play, learning, and exploring are featured.

Saginaw African Cultural Festival
Held annually since 1969, the event began as the Inner-City Arts Exhibit and was a joint project between a grass-roots organization and a community-based service agency, United Power, and the Community Action Committee. In 1972, what began as an art exhibit became the Annual Black Arts Festival which, in 1989, took its current name. Housed in the former Ring Family Home in Saginaw, Michigan, which was designed by the architect, Charles Adam Platt, in 1903, the art museum is on North Michigan Avenue.
